Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Candidature at getcandidature.online. By creating an account or using the site, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. What Candidature does

Candidature lets creators of games, apps, websites, Discord servers and similar projects publish openings, and lets applicants apply to them. We provide the platform only. We are not a party to any agreement between a creator and an applicant, we do not employ anyone, and we do not guarantee that an opening is real, paid, or will lead to collaboration.

2. Accounts

• You must be at least 13 years old, and old enough under the laws of your country to agree to these terms or have permission from a parent or guardian.
• Give accurate information and keep your password secure. You are responsible for activity on your account.
• One person, one account. Do not create accounts with bots or automated tools.

3. Openings and slots

• A creator sets a number of slots. Applying reserves one slot right away.
• Each account can apply to an opening once, even after being declined or withdrawing.
• If an applicant does not answer within the time set by the creator, the request expires and the slot is released.
• When a creator declines an applicant, or an applicant withdraws, the slot is released.
• Creators may pause, resize or delete their openings at any time.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of what you post. You give us a worldwide, non exclusive, royalty free license to host, store and display it so the service can work. You confirm you have the rights to everything you post.

5. Rules

You must not:

• post scams, fake openings, or offers that ask applicants for money, passwords or payment details;
• post illegal, hateful, harassing, sexual or violent content, or content that targets minors;
• collect other users' data, spam them, or contact them for unrelated purposes;
• infringe intellectual property, including by recruiting for projects that copy others' work without permission;
• attack, overload, scrape or try to bypass the security of the service, including the bot protection.

Fan projects must respect the rules of the original rights holders and of the platforms they run on, such as Roblox, Discord or Steam.

6. Payments between users

Paid and revenue share openings are agreements between creators and applicants. Candidature does not process these payments and is not responsible for them. Agree on terms in writing before starting work.

7. Moderation and termination

We may remove content or suspend or delete accounts that break these terms or put users at risk. You can delete your account at any time in Settings.

8. Beta service

Candidature is in beta. Features may change, and the service may be interrupted or lose data. Do not rely on it as your only copy of important information.

9. Disclaimer and liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the extent allowed by law, Candidature is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for the actions of creators or applicants. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be waived.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. If changes are important, we will show a notice on the site. Using the service after changes means you accept them.
